On one of my rural backroad excursions, I came across this quaint little country church. Many such churches dot the East Texas countryside, and this wood frame structure brought back fond memories of the church where I spent much of my childhood. I just couldn't resist the temptation to step inside for a quick photo shoot! This image is COPYRIGHT REGISTERED~~ALL RIGHTS RESERVED~~MCN:CG6CT-VBHRN-XFDDW

Oh yes!!! My childhood as well in W. Tx!! :D I was married in a church that look much like this in a very small desert town in So. Ca. July 1st of 74. Wooden floors, no padded pews, very hot and no a/c!

Yes, Debbie...these old churches were not built for comfort! But, they sure can hold a lot of precious memories!! Thanks for the wonderful comment!
